A lesson I learned in life is to do more, talk less, be a blessing to others and to thine own self be true!

Due to life's past rejections, many times I felt like I had to prove myself to people who really never had my best interest at heart. I worked hard to try and make up for past mistakes and I spent years trying to gain respect from those whom could never be happy for me. One day I woke up and smelled the coffee. I realized I am (not anyone else) the creator of my own destiny and happiness. I had to learn to forgive myself, love myself and move forward. From that moment, I really didn't care what the negative neigh-sayers thought about me and stopped trying to prove myself to others. I removed negative things & people out of my life and learned to stay in my lane. I followed my heart and spirit on when to be a blessing and was on my way to making a difference that counts. I also didn't let the compliments and kudos I would get from others go to my head. I began living life for a higher purpose and walking in what made me happy! I had to look in the mirror and accept everything about me good and bad! I became thankful for all of the blessings life offered me and learned to even accept my shortcomings and work on improving me. No one is perfect and we all make mistakes, we just have to learn and grow from them. In life there are no failures just opportunities! For example, had I not experienced a few losses, I would of never appreciated my gains :)

It does not matter where you come from, how you start or what you've been through... What matters most is how you finish! I began affirming & believing I deserved life's best ! And most of all I started being thankful and grateful right where I was and had the faith to know greatness is in store for me.

You can do the same! Wake up each morning and decide to have a wonderful day! Give thanks & start proclaiming "I'm a magnet which only attracts great things"! Hang around other positive people. Walk with confidence and know 2009 is your time to shine! Expect new & great things each day! You don't have to prove yourself to anyone and to thine own-self be true. When you walk in greatness you don't have to say a word or prove anything. Others will see it and recognize it. Your gifts will make room for you and you will begin your journey of purpose and on your way to attracting life's best!

& Remember always remain blessed to be a blessing because to whom much is given much is required! Delisia
