This season remember Christmas is not always about giving expensive gifts & going broke but more so appreciating the celebration of life's blessings God bestows upon us daily. You can not put a price tag on taking valuable time out this holiday with family & loved ones and being thankful we are alive and full of purpose this season! We are grateful for all of life's grace & mercy on this journey to fulfill our destiny with joy, love, peace & happiness! Our heart goes out to everyone that has been affected by the economy and we wish we had the ability right now to help each & every one of you that has reached out for assistance. You are truly in our prayers. We have been there before and know what's it's like, but continue to keep the faith, put forth action towards your goals and realize your temporary circumstance is nothing compared to the greatness ahead. Continue to put your faith in God & not people. Find joy and gratitude in something each day. Keep moving forward and never give up. It's these times that build our character that truly increases our faith to overcome any obstacle we may face. To whom much is given, much is required for those who have a little extra this season, please be sure to support your non-profits, local charities/ organizations who give and give to someone in need this holiday. It could be a toy for tots, Hosea feed the Hungry, or clothes that don't fit. Even if you don't have anything monetary give the gift of love & gratitude! It is so much better to give than to receive. Spa Parties Atlanta gives back with "The Gift of Loving Self" Atlanta, GA - Area businesses started the Christmas season off by sharing “The Gift of Loving Self” with the women and mothers in transition affiliated with the Cascade House in Atlanta, GA. The Cascade House is a non-profit organization affiliated with the YWCA that serves homeless women with children by providing mental health services, emotional support and economic opportunities that lead to sustainable employment. On Sunday, December 7, Spa Parties Atlanta, The Atlanta Airport Hilton, Michon’s Smoked Meats and Seafood, The Eagle Connection, and Total Media Marketing, were all a part of a special day of pampering , inspiration and enjoyment for the Cascade House residents. Spa Parties Atlanta, a mobile day spa experience company, created a day spa atmosphere complete with aromatherapy, candles, running water fountains and fluffy robes while the ladies were treated to full back massages, facials, specialty hand treatments and Spatini’s at Atlanta’s Airport Hilton. Delisia Carter, motivational speaker and founder/host of the Eagle Connection on Comcast cable television’s ch.24, which highlights "ordinary people doing extraordinary things and making a difference", provided the ladies with encouraging words of motivation and purpose. The Eagle Connection airs on Saturday mornings at 10:00 am-11:00am & 11:00am-12:00pm. The ladies were later treated to dinner compliments of Michon’s located at 1155 Virginia Ave., Hapeville (Upstairs) Yvette Berry, owner of Spa Parties Atlanta, said "This program proved to be very rewarding for my staff and I. We truly enjoyed giving back and making these ladies feel special. We know this day enabled the shelter residents to feel valued and good about themselves. Spa Parties Atlanta definitely seeks to stay active in the community and doing our part in helping others." Other supporters of the program included the Southside Christian Center in McDonough, GA, the Atlanta Junior League’s Nearly New Shop, JoAnne’s Boutique out of El Paso, TX, and other private donors who provided clothing items and jewelry to the residents.
