Please note that Delisia LeMons-Carter was a member of The EDGE Connection, 'Empowering & Developing Georgia's Entrepreneurs' based in Kennesaw State University Center. The Edge Connection is a Small Business Administration - Women's Business Center. Through her business, The Eagle Connection, she used her membership with The Edge Connection to help her market and develop her business which promoted procurement opportunities through networking of faith-based businesses. In the past, Delisia had the Edge Connection, as well as members of the SBA- Atlanta Region Office, speak to her group to ensure they were aware of local resources to help them start, grow, or expand a business and stimulate the economy here in Georgia.
In tribute to her as the founder/CEO of a noteworthy business with a wonderful purpose, and as a member of The Edge Connection, our CEO, Patricia Harris will take a moment to honor her at our 30th Graduation Ceremony, taken place on Thursday, April 23rd at 7pm at KSU Center. The Graduates are Edge members like Delisia, which recently completed our 12-week 'Plan For Profit' NxLeveL Business Plan Course. Note, prior to graduation, Edge Connection member businesses showcase or market their new business in the KSU Center. Delisia has been apart of showcasing The Eagle Connection at such graduating events, and we intend to have The Eagle Connection showcased. In addition to her beautiful family, we at The Edge Connection mourn the loss of a wonderful person, business woman, client and friend. As we appreciate your continued follow-up on this tragic accident, and hope that the perpetrator that caused the accident is apprehended, we wanted you and our local media to be aware of this tribute. The family is expected to be in attendance. Moving forward, family contact will be sister, Tish Robertson, Tishrobertson@ymail.com. Respectfully,

Greeting Eagles!
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11). Eagles, his plans are great. They are wonderful and indescribable. I used to believe I could fly, but now I know I can. God has given us wings and we are soaring far above the crowd. It’s beautiful! As a family, Robert and our children are all together and we would not have it any other way. We are blessed that God thought so much of us, that he would take us up collectively. Love has lifted us up where we belong; where eagles fly on mountains high. Our message to you is the same as it was from the conception of the Eagle Connection dream. Continue to dream bigger, never give up and always live life on purpose. You can do anything if you plan your future and work your plan. Remember, stay away from the dream killers and begin to walk it out. We will be with you every step of the way. Yes, you have a personal angel/eagle fighting for you. Love, live, laugh, seize your moments, step out on faith, trust me - God wants to prosper you. Now listen… do not mourn my death, but celebrate my life. The Phoenix bird rises from the ashes, the Dove represents the Holy Spirit and peace, but the Eagle stands for power of rising above the earth, above the physical and the literal, into the heavens of rarefied faith, a mystic intuition, and a penetrating spiritual intuition. Thank you for your support through-out the years.
